About PaisaCalc

Free, accurate finance calculators for India — built and maintained by a real person.

PaisaCalc is a free collection of 30 finance calculators built for Indian users — covering investments, loans and taxes. Our goal is simple: help you make smarter money decisions with fast, accurate tools and clear explanations, without sign-ups or spam.

Who runs PaisaCalc

PaisaCalc is built and maintained by Dinesh Babu (Founder & Editor, PaisaCalc). Dinesh Babu founded PaisaCalc and builds and maintains every calculator on the site. He cross-checks each tax slab, interest rate and GST rate against official government sources before publishing, and re-verifies them after every Union Budget and quarterly rate revision.

We’re transparent about what we are and aren’t: PaisaCalc is an educational tools site, not a registered investment adviser. The calculators and guides here are for information only and are not personal financial, tax or legal advice. For decisions specific to your situation, please consult a qualified professional. See our Disclaimer for details.

Why we built it

Most finance calculators are cluttered, slow, or quietly out of date after a Budget or a rate revision. We wanted tools that are quick, easy to read on any device, and — crucially — kept current. Every rate-dependent calculator (income tax, GST, EPF, PPF) shows the financial year and a “verified” date so you know the numbers reflect the latest rules.

How our numbers stay current

We maintain every tax slab, interest rate and GST rate in a single, versioned source and re-check each one against its official source on a schedule — around the Union Budget for income tax, and each quarter for small-savings rates like PPF, NSC and SCSS. Calculations that are pure math — EMI, SIP, CAGR — never go out of date. You can read the full process, including the exact sources we check, on our Editorial Policy page.

What you’ll find
